Capital One says it closed hundreds of bank accounts associated with President Trump and his businesses for quotes anti-money laundering reasons. Those claims were revealed in a recent court filing made by the institution in response to a lawsuit by President Trump who claims the accounts were closed for political reasons. The bank did not accuse the Trump organization of money laundering only saying that the decision was made after a months-long investigation. A spokesperson for the Trump organization calling the explanation baseless.
