Now you’re hearing reports about possible pardon for Galain Maxwell. I mean, someone told me to stop saying that it’s unbelievable.
And they’re absolutely right. Republicans won’t be defending this. Right.
Check this out and we’ll talk about it. Justice Department has given Jeffrey Epstein’s accomplice limited immunity in their talks over the last 48 hours. And the president tonight is not ruling out a pardon for Gain Maxwell. These head spinning developments deepen the saga that has engulfed this White House. Now remember two things.
One, Donald Trump has been told that he is in the Epstein files, which does not necessarily suggest wrongdoing because the context isn’t clear yet.
And two, the DOJ’s meeting was already raising eyebrows since it is unprecedented for a deputy attorney general to travel and talk with a prisoner. This is the person who is running the Department of Justice. And on top of that, that deputy attorney general was Donald Trump’s personal lawyer just six months ago. So there is a sudden interest in this despite the president and his administration trying to bury it over the last month.
Meanwhile, Maxwell’s lawyer has made it pretty clear that she’s looking for a pardon. We haven’t spoken to the president or anybody about a pardon uh just yet. And and you know, listen, the president this morning said he had the power to do so. We hope he exercises that power in the right and just way. Now, also remember that this woman was convicted of abusing and sex trafficking girls.
And despite all of that, the president didn’t reject the idea of a pardon. You consider would you consider a pardon or a commutation for Elaine Maxwell if it’s something I haven’t thought about. It’s really it’s I’m allowed to do it, but it’s something I have not thought about. A lot of people have asked about pardon Uh, this is just not a time to be talking about pardons.

You make it a very big thing over something that’s not a big thing. I’m sure you have a lot of questions. I do, too, because none of this really makes a lot of sense. Uh, we have two very smart legal analysts here with us. Uh, help me understand here.
What could the Justice Department possibly be getting out of Gileain Maxwell that would be trustworthy at this point given that she knows what they want, which is information on other people but not Donald Trump? I would say nothing. Answering your question, what could they get that would be trustworthy? And the reason is um you have the president who was named in all of this, not saying he did anything wrong, but he’s named in all of this. his personal attorney is the one that went down and spoke to her.
He was his personal attorney six months ago. Now he’s the deputy attorney general. What if the story comes out that Maxwell said that these Democrats were involved, maybe throw in a couple billionaires, um Trump pardons her for coming forward and then nobody else is named.
Can we believe that? Can we believe who this person is telling Donald Trump is responsible for this?
We just That’s a situation that you can’t trust. There is no transparency here and I don’t think that’s how it should have been handled if we want fairness to kind of rule the day. And Joey, I’m curious. You know, Gileian Maxwell had a trial. There is apparently a file at the FBI on this entire saga that is so large.
I mean, it it is hundreds of thousands of documents large. There’s a lot of information that’s already there. What do they want from her? What do they really think they can get that they don’t already have knowledge of? Well, first I’m hungry.
It’s the Food Network. Could we eat first? But I guess we have to get right into Okay. into the Look, the bottom line is that she is in an impossible position. Let me explain why.
If she says something that’s damning to the president, we can’t believe it. If she says something supportive to the president, we can’t believe it.
The bottom line here is that there may be things you can believe. Why? There’s something called corroboration.
We’re not taking anyone’s word for it. In a court of law, you never do or you’re not supposed to. If she gives the indication of anything, who, what, when, where, how, why, all of that is vetted. You’re going to corroborate whatever she says by a flight record, by a hotel record, by a text message, by an email, by surveillance, what have you.
So, let’s understand that we’re not just going to take what she says for face value.
At the end of the day, though, if you want to be fully transparent, it’s about releasing the files. Oh, there are no files. or are there files? We don’t know because they keep flipping the story. But if you want to be transparent and let the American people know what happened, Abby, you release everything and then we could all make decisions for ourselves.
A couple more points. They talk about this issue of let’s get the grand jury testimony out. Let’s get the grand jury. That is such a farce. It’s ridiculous.
Why? In a grand jury, what happens, Abby, is you’re just giving them limited barebones information that is grand jurors so that they can indict the specific person who is in front of the grand jury.
And all you’re determining are two things. Number one, is there a reasonable cause to believe that a crime was committed and the subject of that proceeding committed it. So all of this stuff with the with the administration saying the grand jury was just a red herring.
If you release everything, then you know what’s what. Last last last point, and that’s this. But what do you think she’s going to say when the only person on the planet who can help her if she’s looking for a pardon is in the White House? I mean, literally. Quite literally.
I mean, here’s what Adam Kinzinger said. I mean guys, I would love to know what you guys think what what’s going to happen here, but in my op in my opinion, what Dante said is exactly what’s going to happen. Trump I mean his base, those Republican voters are not going to care if the information is corroborated or not.
Trump is going to have that disgusting child trafficker and abuser herself make things up about Democrats. or even if it’s real about Democrats, they’re going to convenient she’s going to conveniently leave out Trump.

Neither here nor there. I mean, it is kind of here nor there. I mean, it is kind of here nor there because before you continue, let me just play what what Trump has said about whether he is or isn’t going to pardon people. Just listen to this and just remember that all of the people that he’s talking about, he pardoned.
Got him. I don’t want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet. You pardon Paul Man. I have not even given it a thought as of this moment. Elijah Stone, are you going to pardon him, sir?
He’s been convicted of felonies. Am I going to pardon him? Yes. Well, I hadn’t thought of it. Uh, I think it’s very tough what they did to Roger Stone.
He’s also said he wishes Maxwell well. He said that so many times. It’s perplexing why he would say that about somebody who’s accused of what she’s accused of. I’ll tell you what’s perplexing.
We spent about two weeks in media around tables like this talking about how Donald Trump needs to release the Epstein files so that we knew who is included in this list, who were clients of Jeffrey Epstein, who was involved in sex trafficking.
Virginia Ju is dead. Jeffrey Epste is dead. There is only one person who could actually testify and provide links to what happened in the Epstein days of of of his terror with these unfortunate victims.
Uh and now and that’s Gileain Maxwell for better or worse. So I don’t understand why there’s push back now that people are trying to seek information that she may have on one of the world’s most elite sex rings in this country because the president is implicated.
That is why the president is the president is as implicated as everybody else that he says that they should investigate. He may not be implicated or he might be. We don’t know. This is Wait, let me finish. Let me let me let me finish.

So, they weren’t as invested in this idea of these papers coming out until the president started to behave like a guilty man who had just gotten caught. None of them are behaving like Donald Trump is behaving like they have something that they that he has to hide, that he has to protect.
And that is very suspicious. And that has led liberals to join with the conspiracy theorists who’ve held on to this idea since at least 2016 with pizz. So this is that is why people want to get it now because he’s acting like he’s the political Maxwell not give you the answers you seek is my question to you. Why wouldn’t we want to hear what this woman has to say? We do.
But it’s the who and the how that’s asked. And and you you you very you spelled out very well a political side, but the legal side is this crime has two sides to it. The people who were taking advantage of those young girls and the people who were providing or trafficking them for them. We only have the people who were providing. Not a single name of the people who were taking advantage of those girls.
This is the FBI, Federal Bureau of Investigation. You know, they’re the best invest in investigators in the world.
The fact that this could be happening and they don’t have one name of a client doesn’t make any sense. So, how are we here? And how do we get the right information out without it being screened by someone who may be involved?
That’s all we want to know because those people who were taking advantage of those girls, they could be somewhere taking advantage of other girls right now and nobody’s doing anything about it because we made it a political issue and the person who can make decisions is the one running the circus.
So, nobody’s doing anything. Let me get this clear. Nobody’s Humpty Dumpty is just as he’s just acting like he’s confused as as to what happening. Oh, why wouldn’t we want more information from Maxwell?
It’s very clear who doesn’t call Trump daddy as to what’s happening here and someone with a properly functioning brain, which I don’t know if Humpty Dumpty does. And keep track of all these Republican pundits defending and doing everything they can to just remember what they’re doing here. They’re shielding Trump from his clear I’m sorry. Clear involvement with Epstein. Release the files.
Release the missing minutes. What is the problem? This is is just so much so obvious, so clear behavioral evidence here. This isn’t politics. These are people trying to shield somebody who again is an extremely likely child abuser.
And I can’t believe I even have to say this, but imagine if this was I don’t have to say this, but imagine if this was Obama, Biden, or whoever.
Could you imagine what they would be saying? And the foaming of the mouth we would be seeing from these cultist. It’s incredible that these conservatives are willing to believe all these conspiracies without evidence. Democrats are drinking children blood.

Another victim said that Jeffrey Epstein told her himself that this president likes him young, referring to young girls in this ring. Now, of course, I’m talking about Bill Clinton, right? But don’t you think we should know the answer whether Bill Clinton or Donald Trump anyone fighting So why are we Well, I just want to note I just want to note that that Bill Clinton and that’s the big problem Republicans have us on this side. We don’t care who’s implicated. Bill Clinton, I don’t care.

Spokesperson put out a statement yesterday that said that a year ago before all of this, they said that they did not object to the Epstein files being released. So there’s that.
Uh Donald Trump happened. Listen, I I don’t even think this is about whether Donald Trump is even, you know, implicated in the sense that we know that he has done something wrong.
When I said implicated, I mean in the sense that we know that there’s an association between him and Epstein that he is sensitive about. But even if there is nothing that he has done wrong, Trump should not be in a position, the argument goes, where he is deciding whether or not information gets released because theoretically because theoretically he’s in charge and he’s power. No one else on the earth has that.
I I like to do to do the sort of um put this shoe on the other foot, right? Okay. So, let’s say it’s it’s Joe Biden. He was friends with Jeffrey Epste for a long time. And okay, let’s say it’s Bill Clinton, friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and Bill Clinton says, “I’m going to have my former personal lawyer go interview uh Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirator.
” And then I’m going to suggest that maybe there’s a pardon to be had here. And then I’m going to say, “Well, we’re going to release information about this case.
Would you trust that the information that’s being released would not have anything to do with Bill Clinton?” Abby, two weeks ago, I mean, that’s what you said here. But hold on, Joe.
That’s a yes or no. I want the information released. Would you trust him? We all signed two weeks ago. Would you trust Bill Clinton to screen information about Jeffrey Epstein?
Even right now at this very moment, would you say would you say Mr. Clint Mr.
Mr. former president? I want you to go in there and tell us what is in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Would you trust that? As my friend Joey Jackson, who flat left me at a golf outing a few weeks ago said, anything she says has to be corroborated. The point is not to make a headline. The point is not to make a a press impact.
The point is to get to the bottom of a sex ring involving the most elite people in the United States of America.
I think we should gather every bit of information. If she wants to talk, I’m all for it. Listen, there are other ways to do this that that are much more impartial. Release point stipulating. Mhm.
How else can we get information about the Epstein section without having somebody that may be involved screening the information? Unfortunately, he got elected as president. He’s in charge of the justice department. He doesn’t He doesn’t have to He doesn’t have to be He does not have to be involved. He doesn’t have to be involved.
He really doesn’t the DOJ. The the the deputy attorney general is not involved. Correct. So Abby, the way it should work is that there should be an independent party, right? We call it independent counsel and that independent counsel, not your personal lawyer, would go and conduct an interview.
And in that interview, you would get information and again like I noted, you would screen and corroborate it. problem we have here is a number of problems. But the first thing is is look at the nature of the relationship between the person doing the interviewing and the president of the United States. That smells bad. Number two, the bottom line is I would like to see even the transcripts prior to the interview.
Hey, we’re here and we’re here, Miss Phillips. We’re just here to get information and we’re considering a pardon and based on what you tell us, we may give you a pardon or we may not. I want to hear that before we even get to the transcript. And so the way the White House is doing this is they’re keeping the information very much on a tight rope. And what if it comes back to them and they don’t like certain portions of the transcript, but it’s only his deputy attorney general.
Do you think we can trust the ultimate transcript that comes out that’s released? And last point, the actual lawyer, right, for the president, the president’s lawyer, and the one who is Gain Maxwell’s lawyer, guess what? They’re best of friends. How does that work out? And add to that, the prosecutor that prosecuted Maxwell has now been fired.
Well, look, listen. I at the very least, the president could have taken the pardon off the table. He did not. So, here we are uh with a pardon dangling over somebody who desperately wants to be out of prison. Joey Jackson, Dante Mills, and that’s right.
Trump’s lawyer and Gileain Maxwell lawyers are best friends. like Humpty Dumpty here. I would love to ask him on this panel. Does this any of this at all seem suspicious to you? Trump was told in May that he was on the files and since then he said this is a hoax by the Democrats.

Do you understand that at all that this looks suspicious or does this look all in the up and up to you? Like I just don’t get there. I mean, if they are still supporting Trump and standing by him through all of this, excusing his behavior, there isn’t much left to say. They will excuse anything.
It doesn’t matter. Trump could violate their own. And I truly think, and I hate to say it, they will still defend and support the man.
This is what it means to be in a cult. It’s excuse everything is to see their leader as a godlike figure.
who can do no wrong. You throw all rationality, all level of logical critical thinking out the door. Conservatives out there, wake up. Actually, do me a favor. Look up the word conservative.
