Hey, what’s up everyone? I want to welcome you guys to another episode of Here’s What I Think with your host Charles Dansancy. Let’s get into this topic here. Man, Paul Lance strikes again. Paul Lance strikes again.
You know, I was just speaking uh about um uh Paul just this afternoon, my business partner, Marco, and I was like, you know, Paul doesn’t have a fancy setup. He’s usually doing shows. I’ve seen him do shows in his car, uh his backyard, hell, even his garage, right? He doesn’t have a fancy setup, whatever, whatever it is. But so many people continuously tune in to hear what he has to say.
And Marco said to me, he says the reason he thinks that is is because he’s authentic, right? He’s is that he’s not fake. He’s just being himself. And I think in a day and age like this with so many charlatans and grifters, it is refreshing when people come across people that are being authentic. And most importantly, beyond the fact that they’re being authentic, they’re telling the bloody truth.
Right? there are too many people out here that are trying to go around the issue, talk around issues, and he addresses it uh uh uh uh uh uh directly. So, I came across a clip from his show and I suggest you guys go watch it. I came across it just this afternoon here today and it was published I think he published it today and it says, “Nicole Wallace still refuses to see why white Americans really voted for Trump.” Now, Paul is someone that’s been ve very vocal towards his own white people where he’s like, “Look, a lot of you guys are kind of dancing around the issue.
” Hit the nail on the head is racism. Talk about racism. I know it may be an uncomfortable subject to broach, maybe to talk about publicly, speak about with your friends or whatever, because it maybe feels uncomfortable, but that’s the only way we’re going to really address this thing. Talk about the real issue. And in this video, he’s he’s reacting to what she had to say.
And she’s like he’s like, “What?” She’s like, “Why don’t you why?” He’s like, “Why don’t you just call it for what it is? They voted for him because of racism.” Take a listen to what he had to say here.
>> Why didn’t people do anything? Why didn’t people do anything when Trump destroyed the global economy with tariffs and with a war he had no plan to win? Why didn’t people do anything when he purged the military of decades of combat tested generals? Why didn’t they do anything when the FBI was taken over by a beer guzzling Yahoo who’s defending goat sex? I mean, why do people do anything?
>> Because he’s white. I I don’t know how much more simpler, Nicole, to explain it to you. Listen, I like watching your show, but your head is so far up your ass, you refuse to listen to what people tell you. How many times have you had Professor Eddie Glaude on your show? The professor of African-American studies.
And what has he told you every time? It’s racism. It’s white supremacy. It’s white supremacy. It’s white supremacy.
America still refuses to acknowledge the snake in the room. White supremacy. And you nod your head, gom, yeah. Uhhuh. Uhhuh.
Uhhuh. The moment that black man leaves your show, you don’t talk about it ever again until he’s back on your show. Why? Why do you refuse to admit why Donald Trump gets away with the most horrible man? Because that’s what white people have done for 400 years.
We’ve gotten away with it. We gotten away with with slavery, the Middle Passage, the Trail of Tears, Wounded Knee, murdering Native Americans, lynching black people, ins putting Asians in internment camps, burning down Wall Street, Jim Crow, the three-fifths clause. We got away with the most horrible. And then on January 6th, white people beat the officers and the rapist who 77 million dumbass selfish pieces of for said, “Nope, that’s not bad enough. I just can’t vote for the black woman because I don’t like her laugh.
She swept her way to the top. I’m gonna take the white man that defends child molesters and is a child molester and rapes women and is a felon. That’s the guy I want. Nicole, I don’t understand why you refuse to see it. This is why we’re here because people like you won’t use your platform.
Every time I hear an issue about racism and white supremacy, it’s almost always black people. They are not the problem. We are Nicole. People like you that won’t talk about it unless there’s a black person on your panel. When I hear about the USS Lincoln, they’re talking about renaming a new aircraft carrier, right?
About the uh the hero, the first black man to get a war. I think it was after Pearl Harbor who was a a chef, I believe. And then he saved a bunch of people. And Donald Trump wants to put his name on it, right? What did you hear?
Oh, the black veterans are upset. Why aren’t the white veterans upset? Why do the black people have to keep fighting for the black people? They’re not the problem. We are.
So, you heard his comments. Before I before I um react to it, let me tell you guys something that I was thinking about while he was speaking. You guys remember uh January the 6th? I certainly do. I was in London.
Let me just paint the picture for you guys. I was in London and I was visiting my mother at the time and we were watching the um you know uh uh watching TV that day and then all of a sudden these riers you know showed up to Capitol Hill and I like most people around the world who were watching that were absolutely stunned by what we were seeing and as the people were like rioting trying to get into Capitol Hill I remember seeing the police officers and I remember saying to myself and I think I even posted on Facebook at the time why aren’t they shooting Why are they shooting them? These people are trying to storm Capitol Hill. Why aren’t they using deadly force to stop them? And it was at that moment it became clear not only to the people like me who knew that racism was a real thing and double standards existed in the United States, but even the people that always tried to deny it, they literally refused to shoot them because they’re white.
There’s no other way to say it. I had never seen that amount of restraint from police officers. Never. Never. But let it be a black dude sitting in a car and they pull him over for stop.
They’re busting the windows, punching him in the face and bringing with for no bloody reason. Meanwhile, you have rioters, criminals storming Capitol Hill to t to overturn an election and they just let them waltz in. It was only later on that they began to try to keep them out of the uh keep them out of the premises. That moment encapsulates why Trump is able to get away with with the things that he gets away. It’s because he’s white.
I don’t know how else to say it to you. I don’t know if I need to say it in in in another language. It is because he’s white and a lot of racist whites are willing to overlook a lot of his shortcomings. Why? Not only because they share the same pigmentation, but because they share the same values.
They align in terms of their values. Trump is a bigot. Trump is a racist. Trump is a xenophobe. And a lot of them feel that way.
And as a and is a misogynist. A lot of them feel that way. So they overlook a lot of his shortcomings because at the end they still share the same values. Would they like Trump to be more eloquent? Yes.
Would they like him to be more behaved in public and actually be able to comport himself like a normal human being? Absolutely. But they’ll overlook all of that as long as he’s doing their bidding. Now, here’s the kicker. Had Barack Obama done onetenth of what Trump did, they would have locked him in jail.
And we all know it. We all know it. Even the racist mas who support Trump, they know it. They know it. You think they don’t know?
Of course they know it. THEY KNOW IT. THEY understand the double standard that exists. It is clear. It is transparent.
How do we know this? Because it has always existed. How else could a person is incompetent with the history that he has like a Pete Hexth ascend to a position like that? How else could he do it? Do you think it was based off OF HIS QUALIFIC?
HELL NO. It’s because he fit some kind of bill. He had the kind of look that they wanted. This strong man that always looks pissed off with the hair combed back and it fit a particular protoh prototypical image that they wanted to propagate out there to the masses. So they will vote for someone like someone like that who is deeply incompetent.
This is what it all this is what it all uh circles back to. Literally at the core of this last election, racism and xenophobia was at the heart of it. Literally, all of these people, immigration, immigrant about immigration weren’t even being affected by it. Wouldn’t even come across immigrants in their daily life in a way that it would affect them on a day-to-day basis. [snorts] But they were just like, “Wait, we got to get them out.
We got to get him. We got to” and Trump was able to successfully, and a lot of it was uh uh uh uh the architect of a lot of this was Steve Bannon. He was able to uh uh strike this racist cord within America’s underbelly and he galvanized them. He galvanized them. That’s the reason why if you see a lot of these Trump supporters at various events and you ask them to explain some of Trump’s accomplishments, they can’t even they they can’t even explain it.
They can’t even explain it. They’re just walking around like a bunch of zombies repeating whatever they hear on Fox News or whatever Trump says. They can’t even explain it. All they know is that Trump is saving America. Well, what the hell do you think he means by saving?
Saving America from who? From who? So, this is what Paul is talking about. And he’s 100% correct. Not enough people with big platforms call it out for what it is.
Some do, and I want to be 100% fair. Some do, but others don’t. And the major reason why most of them don’t is because it’s just too uncomfortable. It’s too uncomfortable. I don’t have an issue calling out white or black people.
I be going at these white mockers. I be going at these black mockers. No mercy for nobody because the truth must reign. And I’m not saying that, oh, the Democrats are perfect. Oh, they’re certainly not.
They’re certainly not. But no one is going to convince me that the core of the Democratic movement is racism. You can’t convince me otherwise that that’s what not that’s what this Republican party is not about. Literally, that’s what it’s that literally that seems to be the case. Every time you see a Republican candidate running in the the midterms.
Hey man, what are your policies? They they engage in culture wars. Hey man, did you hear that a that a Haitian jumped over a bed the other day? What could that mean? I saw I saw a Mexican person eating some pillowcases.
I wonder I told you there were danger. This is what this is what it’s all it’s all culture wars. All to scare people. That’s what that’s literally what it’s all about. So anyway, big shout out to Paul, man.
appreciate you for keeping it uh real as always. Who knows, maybe in the future we’ll bring him on the show and I’ll just ask some questions and watch him just rant, you know, because I appreciate that the the authenticity and I think it’s one of the reasons so many people are congregating towards his channel. Some people won’t because it’s a little bit too abrasive. Maybe he’s being a little bit too honest. But for those of us that appreciate Cander, uh we certainly enjoy watching his show.
Big shout out to him. Appreciate you guys for tuning in. Have a great weekend. Peace.
