Breaking tonight, another stunning rebuke of Donald Trump’s war in Iran. The House has again voted to limit Trump’s war powers with seven Republicans joining Democrats on a resolution to remove the US from hostilities with Iran. Now, this comes as the Congressional Budget Office estimates that as of August 1st, the US spent nearly $40 billion. That’s about $250 million per day in the first 5 months of this war. And it could cost another2 to3 billion for each additional month of conflict as this drags on.
