    Great Tool Set

    My husband and father in law were in AWE of the quality and size of this tool set. They’re very secure in the container. I don’t know much about them, but my husband said that the prices are very versatile and that it has certain size bits that a lot of others don’t. If that makes sense to you, right on. This tool set is gorgeous and is going to get a lot of use

    CLASSIC UPDATED CRAFTSMAN QUALITY

    this craftsman 189 piece set is good value for your money when on sale & good quality always with the sockets & ratchets you need most, including basic wrenches & a quick change bit driver handle. it features far more sockets than other sets which have a higher piece count only because they are filled with 150 bits & allen wrenches rarely used. the squared handle design & classic head ratchet shape in this189 set is my favorite style & this set includes them in 3 sizes along with the highest ratio of sockets. the thin line plastic folding case is much more portable than newer versastack boxes. & even better, the plastic folding case keeps every socket & ratchet in their assigned spots while transporting on bumpy roads without wasted space….. AS LONG AS YOU ALWAYS REMEMBER TO OPEN THE CASE RIGHT SIDE UP !!! this case is a big improvement over the older black plastic folding cases with tight fitting socket spaces & stronger plastic clasps. hopefully the craftsman brand continues for several more lifetimes to live up to their established history & lifetime warranty.

    Perfect basic tool kit for most home vehicle maintenance

    This was a gift for my daughter who likes to do her own truck maintenance. She was very pleased with it, especially since it has a notch for each piece. It should be adequate for her needs as far as sizes go, and has both SAE and Metric sizes. The kit, as expected, is not real light (I measured 25 pounds) , but she had no problem carrying it. The tools seem to be of good quality, and should last a lifetime with normal use. The only negative I could think of was If you had to purchase a wrench or socket that was outside of the range of the kit, there is no place to keep it in this kit. For everyday maintenance though, this kit should be adequate .

    A great set of tools.

    This set has a very good selection of tools. I have the 105-piece set that I have had for years and have liked it so good that I bought this 189-piece set. It isn’t made in the USA, but I can’t find anything wrong with the quality. The plastic case is great to keep everything in place and organized. It’s a little heavy to carry, but it’s got everything you need to do the job and not waste time going back and forth looking for the right socket.

    I’ve been using this CRAFTSMAN 189-piece mechanics tool set for several months now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my workshop. The set offers great functionality — everything from sockets and ratchets to wrenches and specialty bits is included, making it super versatile for both home and automotive projects.The tools are comfortable to grip and easy to use, even for longer tasks. The 72-tooth ratchets with a 5° arc swing are perfect for working in tighter spaces, and the full-polish chrome finish not only looks sharp but helps resist corrosion.The blow-molded case keeps things mostly organized, though a few sockets don’t snap in as securely as I’d like — that’s the only reason for knocking off half a star.Overall, this set is extremely functional, user-friendly, and built to last. Great value and performance — I’d definitely recommend it to both beginners and experienced DIYers alike!
